Great honor for Austria’s greatest ski jumping talent

The silver-blue helmet with the Red Bull is a status symbol in Ski jumping. Only the very largest eagles were allowed to adorn themselves with it:

Von Adam Malysz (4-time world champion) to Andreas Goldberger (3-time overall World Cup winner), from Thomas Morgenstern (11 gold medals at World Championships and Olympics) to record holder Gregor Schlierenzauer (53 World Cup victories).

So it is a great honor when a 18-year-old ski jumper from Tyrol is signed by Red Bull.

Stephan Embacher will be held at the weekend Sommer-Grand-Prix in Hinzenbach for the first time wearing the silver-blue helmet of the Red Bulls. The 18-year-old Tyrolean is known in the scene as greatest ski jumping talent in the world traded.

Stephan Embacher has secured his starting place for the new World Cup season thanks to a rule reform that the ÖSV pushed through under sports director Mario Stecher. Since this year, the top three of the Junior World Championships are allowed to compete in the World Cup.
