Thomas Bach no longer a IOC member after June 23

Bach clears the highest IOC post after twelve years at the end of his second term. The team Olympic champion in the fencing of 1976 had announced his decision not to run again at the end of the summer games in Paris. The Olympic Charter should have been changed for another attempt by the 71-year-old.

Who follows Bach?

Six men and one woman apply for the IOC tip office. One of the applicants is the British Sebastian Coe (68), who, as President of the World Athletics Association, is considered a kind of opponent and his measures.
