Mirzoyan and the EU High Representative spoke about the development programs of Armenia-EU partnership

The Armenian Foreign Minister and the EU High Representative discussed the issues of active political dialogue and cooperation between Armenia and the European Union.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Kaya Kaaras also touched upon the current and upcoming programs aimed at deepening Armenia-EU partnership. The Foreign Ministry reports that Minister Mirzoyan stressed the importance of joint efforts to ensure continuous practical achievements through the use of existing tools.

Negotiations on the new Armenia-EU agenda have almost completed, Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan stated yesterday. According to a high-ranking diplomat, Yerevan and Brussels are working on a new partnership document.

However, Hovhannisyan did not reveal what specific priorities will be in the new document. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes that this new document will further deepen relations between Brussels and Yerevan.

Armenia and the European Union have repeatedly stated that they are working on the new RA-EU partnership agenda, setting more ambitious joint priorities for cooperation in all areas without other clear details. They only stressed that the new agenda is not related to the process of joining Armenia and the European Union.
