The furor over cryptocurrencies and blockchain took over again this weekend in Buenos Aires with the 14th. edition of LABITCONF, the Latin American conference on the sector that took place in Costa Salguero.
The UNSTOPPABLE edition of LABITCONF 2025 made history again. For two days, the Costa Salguero property was transformed into the most impressive meeting point of the Bitcoin, blockchain and Web3 ecosystem. More than 9,000 people – from pioneers and programmers to the newly initiated public – filled every corner with an energy that confirmed what many have felt for years: the crypto revolution does not stop.
With 250 talks, 43 activations, 330 speakers and 45 thematic lines distributed in 9 scenarios, LABITCONF once again demonstrated why it is much more than an event: it is a collective experience where technology, economy and culture intertwine to imagine the future.
“LABITCONF was born to share knowledge, but above all to celebrate freedom. Bitcoin not only changed the economy: it changed the way of thinking about property, sovereignty and the power of communities. Seeing thousands of people gathered, connected by the same idea, shows that this movement continues to grow from Latin America to the world,” said Rodolfo Andragnes, founder of LABITCONF and the NGO Bitcoin Argentina.
The meeting brought together historical figures such as Amir Taaki, Francis Pouliot and Nick Spanos, along with Nathan Sexer (Ethereum Foundation), Nick Newman (CASA), Efrat Ferguson, Carlos Maslatón, Austin Alexander, Mauricio Di Bartolomeo (Ledn), Igor Neuman (Firefish) and Brian Klein, the lawyer who defended Tornado Cash.
Roberto Silva, president of the National Securities Commission, Joan Cwaik, Martín Yeza, Darío Nieto and Augusto Salvatto, among many others, also participated.
The contents crossed all axes of the decentralized universe: Bitcoin as a store of value, tokenization of assets, digital identity, Web3, AI, regulation and art.
From the technical debates on the Tech stage, to the philosophical reflections of the Agora, the immersive experiences of the Creators and the introductory talks of the Start, LABITCONF offered a total tour of the present and future of decentralization.
The UNSTOPPABLE spirit was felt in every corner: in the stands, in the workshops, in the activations of companies such as Binance, Ikiigi, Exness, BingX, CoinEx x ViaBTC and Ledn, and in the networking spaces where ideas, projects and alliances were crossed. LABITCONF once again confirmed that Buenos Aires is today one of the most active capitals in the crypto world.
“Each edition shows us that this transcends cryptocurrencies. It is about building community, knowledge and purpose. LABITCONF is a reflection of what Bitcoin represents: the possibility of creating something new, free and global from a collective effort,” added Andragnes.
The conference was also the starting point of Tecweek Buenos Aires, which throughout November will bring together the main technology, innovation and digital finance events in the country.
