The Canarian rapper Bejo debuts in the seventh art with ‘El interiorista’, a short film in which he sings from his new album

The canarian rapper Borja Jimenezbetter known as Bejo, He has made his debut in the seventh art with a short film, ‘The interior designer’in which he sings his new album.

He member of the Locoplaya group -together with Don Patricio and Uge- has released this work composed of eight songs in which features collaborations with Kase.O and comedian Ignatius Farray.

‘The interior designer’ -which draws on the language of Luis Buñuel or even Dalí- is filmed between the island of El Hierro and Madrid and Bejo directed and starred in it.

The musical production is carried out by Nico Miseria and Juli Giuliani, responsible for the dense and timeless atmospheres that support a story where the dreamlike and the real intertwine.

Bejo reinforces this aspect with lyrics that range from the real and vindictive – he speaks of a generation marked by anxiety and uncertainty – to the imaginary. “You know dreams are dreams when you wake up“, account.

Thus, it is shot entirely in black and white and presents an inner journey loaded with symbols such as the ram or the sea, the latter deeply connected to the artist’s Canarian roots.

‘The Interior Designer’ It was presented exclusively and free of charge at the Sala Equis in Madrid last Wednesday, when a mural created by Bejo himself was also exhibited.
