Israel | The results of currency trading on May 17, 2022: the dollar fell sharply, a significant depreciation of the euro

The Bank of Israel reports that on Tuesday, May 17, foreign exchange trading ended with a sharp decline in the dollar and a significant depreciation of the single European currency against the Israeli shekel.

The dollar fell by 1.638% and amounted to 3.363 shekels per $1. The euro exchange rate fell by 0.757% and amounted to 3.538 shekels per €1.

It should be noted that during the past and this week, the dollar and the euro fluctuated strongly against the shekel, either rising sharply or falling.
