Vingroup plans to establish and own 51% of VinMotion Company – an enterprise specializing in research, development and application of multi-purpose robots.

The Board of Directors of Vingroup Corporation (VIC) has just approved capital contribution to establish VinMotion Multifunctional Robot Research, Development and Application Joint Stock Company. Charter capital is 1,000 billion VND, of which Vingroup contributes 51%.

From the beginning of 2024 until now, Vingroup Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong has continuously established new businesses in the high-tech industrial ecosystem. In March 2024, he founded the V-GREEN charging station development company, with the purpose of supporting VinFast to enter the global market. After that, the Chairman of Vingroup continued to establish a company to buy, sell and rent electric cars and an electric car driving training company.

Most recently, at the end of November, two sons, Pham Nhat Quan Anh and Pham Nhat Minh Hoang, contributed capital to establish the robot development company VinRobotics. This move contributes to perfecting the industrial – high-tech ecosystem, one of the three main pillars of the group. VinRobotics CEO Ngo Quoc Hung said that, in the technology era, products and solutions with high levels of intelligence will contribute to economic and social development.

In the technology segment, Vingroup has built a dense ecosystem. The most prominent is VinAI – an enterprise that creates products applied to VinFast electric cars and Vinhomes housing projects. Previously, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong’s portfolio also included VinBrain, which also operates in the field of artificial intelligence.
