Stock Exchange: The Helsinki Stock Exchange could not find direction in the opening – KH Group’s share is rising after the dividement plans

Conglomerate KH Group announced late Thursday evening that it has started its ownership of the furniture company Indoor Group Holdingin their ownership. The KH Group owns 58.3 percent of Indoor.

In connection with the reporting change in the Indoor Group sales process, the KH Group has estimated that the Indoor Group ownership has a fair value and, as a result, will make a subscription of approximately EUR 29 million for the financial year 2024.

According to the KH Group announcement, the company’s strategy aims to create an industrial group focused on KH-machine business. In order to promote this goal, the aim is to break away from other business areas at an optimal stage of value creation.

The final decision on the sale of Indoor Group ownership has not yet been made. The aim is to complete the process during 2025.

At the same time, the company provided prior information on its profit. KH Group’s continuing business (KH machines, Nordic Rescue Group and parent company) in the last quarter of 2024 was EUR 61.7 million and comparable operating profit of EUR 3.4 million. The company will publish the 2024 financial statements on Friday, March 21, 2025.

KH Group’s share was 8.0 % on the morning exchange.

Trade group Pregnant reported on Friday that its sales fell 1.4 percent in February. The total sales were EUR 906.1 million. In comparable numbers, the decline was 1.9 %.

Director general Jorma Rauhala Sales fell in the grocery store and construction and building technology. Sales grew in the car dealership. In the hardware store, both comparable and reported sales increased.

“There was one delivery day in all businesses due to the leap date of the previous year. The impact of one delivery day on Kesko’s sale is about 2-4 percentage points, ”says Rauhala in the release.

In February, the grocery trade was EUR 479.3 million and fell by 2.4 per cent.

Kesko’s share in the morning was 1.4 % down.

Friday will come off with dividends Alexandrian, Titaniumin and Wärtsilän shares. Usually, companies’ share prices will decrease the dividend per dividend at the time of the dividend.
