“Air Serbia” was forced to cancel yesterday’s flight between Belgrade and London, and then the return flight, the national airline announced.

Due to the announcement from “Heathrow” airport that the service of afternoon flights on weekends will not be possible in the coming period either, “Air Serbia” is, as stated, forced to cancel afternoon flights on Saturdays and Sundays for the entire month, starting from Saturday, July 9.

Today’s afternoon flight JU386 between Belgrade and London will have to be operated by “Air Serbia” because it is conditioned by the possibility of losing the historical slot right to land at Heathrow at a certain time.

Passengers on that flight will only be able to travel with hand luggage. On the return flight from London, JU387 will not be able to carry passengers, so the company was forced to cancel that flight.

As it is pointed out, the Serbian national airline has been put in such a paradoxical situation that it is announced that it will not be possible to accept and ship passengers and their luggage, while on the other hand, they insist that the flights be made, and even partially or completely empty. .
