Israel | The results of currency trading on July 4, 2022: the dollar and euro fell

The Bank of Israel reports that on Monday, July 4, currency trading ended with a sharp decline in the dollar and the single European currency against the Israeli shekel.

The dollar fell by 0.851% and amounted to 3.496 shekels per $1. The euro exchange rate fell by 0.765% and amounted to 3.657 shekels per €1.

On Monday, July 4, the Monetary Commission of the Bank of Israel raised the discount rate by 0.5 points, and amounted to 1.25%.
