The president of the municipality of Cajetina, Milan Stamatovic, said today after the session of the Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation between Serbia and Russia, which was held on Zlatibor, that Cajetina has a lot of potential to offer to the Russian market, as well as to improve economic cooperation between that municipality and Russia.
“We used the Intergovernmental Committee to present our potentials and to invite Russian investors to invest in our municipality, because we are the only local self.government that has an Office for Cooperation with Russia, which was established in 2015,” Stamatovic said.
He also pointed out that the Office has fulfilled its full significance in the sense of tourism, because a large number of Russian tourists visit Zlatibor.
“The office was established with the goal of economic cooperation and to present the possibilities of exporting our traditional products to the Russian market, where more opportunities for partnerships can be created,” Stamatović explained.
According to him, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Yuri Borisov, who also co.chaired the Intergovernmental Committee, had the opportunity to get to know all the tourist potentials of Zlatibor.
