The Minister for the care of the village, Milan Krkobabic, assessed that the investment plan of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, “Serbia 2020-2025” is a precondition for the survival of the village of Serbia, it was announced today.
“The efforts of the Village Committee of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU) and the Ministry of Rural Care would have been lost without the true support of President Aleksandar Vučić and the investment plan ‘Serbia 2020-2025’. With this plan and GDP growth rate of minimum “Six percent on an annual level, significant changes for the better are possible in the villages of Serbia,” Krkobabic said.
He stated that the plan envisages five billion euros for the construction of 5,000 kilometers of regional and local roads, three billion euros for the construction of water supply and sewerage south of the Sava and Danube, as well as 300 million euros, outside the state budget, intended for the purchase of machinery, irrigation and land consolidation.
“Our mission to preserve the villages of Serbia is based on these allocations, because for that we need a lot of money, and even more work and knowledge,” Krkobabic said for Television Prva.
