The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, said today in a conversation with the representatives of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia (SSSS) that it is necessary for them to send her proposals in order to jointly find a solution to the current problems, the government announced.
Representatives of several trade unions presented today to the Prime Minister the problems of workers in Serbia, and the most important are wages.
The press release states that the interlocutors concluded that salaries have been raised during the current year and that the unemployment rate has significantly decreased, but that the lack of qualified staff in some areas is an obstacle that should be resolved as soon as possible.
Brnabić told the trade unionists that the ministers will be additionally engaged in the work of the Social and Economic Council, and that dialogue is the only and best way to solve all problems, and that she is fully ready for a conversation.
The meeting in the Government of Serbia was attended by the Ministers of Finance and Labour, Siniša Mali and Nikola Selaković.
