Declines in Hong Kong following Alibaba reports;  Nikkei is up by half a percent

The decline in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange continues – which currently stands at about 1.1%. Alibaba shares are down 10.2%, following disappointing reports.

Rises in Asia: The Nikkei is up half a percent, the KOSPI is up 0.8%, Shanghai is up 1.1% and Shenzhen is up 1.2%.

Oil is up 0.97%, Brent oil is up 1% and gold is down 0.13%.

Europe: Despite the spread of the corona, stock market trading is expected to open with slight price gains.

The Hong Kong Stock Exchange is down about 1.3% after the publication of disappointing reports to Alibaba. The company’s stock lost more than 10% during the trading day.

The Nikkei is up half a percent, the KOSPI is up 0.8% and the Chinese stock exchanges are also up – Shanghai is up 1.1% and Shenzhen is up 0.5%.

Oil is up 0.8%, Brent oil is up 0.7% and gold is stable.
