Esa Niinimäki has been appointed Nokia’s General Counsel and a member of the management team

Niinimäki’s station will remain in Finland and he will report Nokian managing director Pekka for Lundmark. Niinimäki will start his duties today, Wednesday 25 January 2023.

Niinimäki has worked as deputy general counsel and board secretary, responsible for the development of Nokia’s governance practices. He has also worked as legal director of Nokia’s Global Services business group, director responsible for group legal affairs in NSN and as a lawyer in Nokia’s India, Middle East and Africa region.

Before joining Nokia, Niinimäki worked Metsä Group in the legal affairs unit and as an assistant lawyer at the law firm White & Case LLP.
