The competition lasted until November 1, 945 applications were received, and according to the conditions prescribed by the Decree of the Government of Serbia, the applicants were married and unmarried couples, young farmers and single parents, up to 45 years of age who want to start their lives. in the countryside by becoming independent from their parents’ homes or moving from the cities to live in the countryside.

The value of the village house with a garden, which the interested parties found themselves, could not exceed 1.2 million dinars (10,000 euros), and the entire program is implemented in cooperation with local governments that assess market value and check whether property assets are regulated. legal relations and real estate.

Initially, 500 million dinars were allocated for this program, but due to very great interest, that amount was increased to 686.5 million dinars at the proposal of the Ministry of Rural Care, introduced by the government.

The money is allocated as prescribed by the Decree, until the funds are spent, in the order of the received applications.
