The automotive supplier Bosch wants to increase the workforce in its engineering center in Vienna by a third. The group currently employs more than 750 technicians there and would like to hire another 250 by the end of 2022, the company announced on Monday. We are looking for specialists for software and hardware development in the fields of electromobility and vehicle computing (electronic architectures in modern vehicles).

Technicians in the areas of embedded software and cyber security as well as data scientists are particularly in demand, according to the company. In Austria, Bosch has locations in Vienna, Linz and Hallein. Around a third of the total of almost 3,000 employees work in the engineering sector.
