Serbian manufacturers of work and protective footwear and clothing for special purposes have successfully promoted export capacities at the international fair “Safety and Safety at Work” in Moscow and it is expected that the total export of these products to Russia, only through distributor “Etalon”, will exceed five million euros in 2022, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce announced today.

Perspective projects of joint production of footwear in Russia and opening a company and production of protective clothing in Serbia are being negotiated with Russian partners.

“Apart from clothes and footwear for special purposes, there is great potential for children’s footwear from Serbian manufacturers on the Russian market,” the statement said.

The owner of the company “Etalon”, Denis Osipov, said that with the support of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, a lot of work had been done in the past nine months and that after the first ten trucks of shoes were placed, it was possible to define business potential for next year and sales channels.

“We have a clear potential and we want to open all directions of product sales in a quality way and grow together with our Serbian friends and business partners. The spring / summer season is ahead of us, for which we are thoroughly preparing and with the support of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce the fifth business visit to Serbia, which will be held at the end of January, during which we will define models and plans for ordering work clothes for next year, “Osipov said.

He stated that they are especially proud of “the fact that Russian children will wear top quality and comfortable children’s shoes from Serbian companies”, primarily the manufacturer “Obuća Pavle” from Bela Palanka.

At the Etalon stand at the BIOT 2021 fair, models of work, camouflage and medical clothing of the Serbian companies “Trendtex” Prijepolje, “Jumko” Vranje and NAG Belgrade were also promoted.
