Edesur changes its brand image and announces investments

The electricity distributor Edesur, owned by the Italian Enel, presented its new brand image during the inauguration of the work at the Tres Sargentos substation, located in the City of Buenos Aires.

At the company disbursed more than US $ 10 million in the reconversion and repowering works of the substation. He recycled the interior of the building to accommodate new equipment and installed two new 40 MVA transformers, among other equipment.

“This is how we continue to renew, modernize, digitize and redesign future distribution networks to make them more resilient in order to guarantee the highest level of quality of service to clients ”, said Gianluca Palumbo, general manager of Edesur.


Edesur changed its image and inaugurated works at the Tres Sargentos substation.

The company has disbursed US $ 800 million in the last 5 years, and managed to reduce supply cuts by 55%, it said in a statement.
