“Special attention was paid to the deliveries of Russian natural gas to Serbia. It was stated that systematic work of appropriate structures of the two countries has been established in this direction, which will enable stable heating and electricity supply to the Serbian population and economy,” the statement said.
He added that talks on November 25 in Sochi continued on prospects for co-operation in various fields, including joint energy projects.
The leaders exchanged congratulations on the upcoming holidays, and it was agreed to continue contacts and coordination at various levels, the Kremlin said in a statement.
Earlier today, Vučić’s cabinet announced that Putin had assured the President of Serbia that Russia would stick to the agreement and that Serbia would have sufficient quantities of gas this winter.
