Serbia’s budget deficit for 11 months in 2021 was 149.6 billion dinars
Serbia’s budget deficit for 11 months last year was 149.6 billion dinars, the Ministry of Finance of Serbia announced today.Revenues were realized in the amount of 1,316.7 billion dinars, and expenditures were made in the amount of 1,466.3 billion dinars.

As stated, this result is better than the plan envisaged by the October rebalance of the budget by 16 billion dinars, considering that a deficit in the amount of 165.6 billion dinars is foreseen in this period.

In November alone, the deficit amounted to 51.8 billion dinars.

In November, revenues in the amount of 125.4 billion dinars were collected, of which tax revenues amounted to 106.8 billion dinars.

The largest part of tax revenues refers to the payment of VAT in the amount of 57.4 billion dinars and excise duties in the amount of 27.4 billion dinars.

Non-tax revenues amounted to 16.6 billion dinars, and the inflow of donations in November amounted to two billion dinars.

Expenditures were made in the amount of 177.2 billion dinars.

Expenditures for employees amounted to 27.4 billion dinars, capital expenditures 45.3 billion dinars, subsidies were made in the amount of 22.1 billion dinars, and transfers OOSO (fund PIO, RFZO, NES, fund SOVO) in the amount of 17, 2 billion dinars.

At the level of the general government, in the period January-November, the fiscal deficit in the amount of 112.1 billion dinars and the primary fiscal deficit in the amount of five billion dinars were realized.
