Tax authorities are looking for young people: 80 apprenticeship positions open

Young people who would like to deal with tax matters professionally can now apply for an apprenticeship in financial administration. Overall, the local tax and customs offices will take on 80 apprentices across Austria this year, the Ministry of Finance announced on Friday.

Specifically, it is about the apprenticeships “tax assistant” in the tax offices and “administrative assistant” in the customs offices. Applicants for tax assistance should enjoy “solving tricky problems,” they say. “Anyone who is interested in economic and legal contexts and likes to deal with numbers has the right qualifications to take up this apprenticeship”.

If you like dealing with people and are interested in administrative work, you have the right prerequisites for the apprenticeship “Administrative Assistant”. There are currently 8 apprenticeships open for this apprenticeship in administrative assistance at the Austrian customs office.
