“After the submitted report of the State Audit Institution on objections to the operations of PE ‘Post of Serbia’ in 2019 and 2020 sent to the previous management, the new management eliminated the identified irregularities in operations 11 months before the deadline,” the Post of Serbia said in a press release. As stated, on December 31, 2021, the State Audit Institution published the Report on the Audit of the Regularity of Business Operations of “Post of Serbia” Belgrade, in the part related to public procurement for 2019 and 2020, compensation for off-the-job contracts relations and other benefits to individuals for 2020.
As it was pointed out, those irregularities arose before the appointment of Zoran Djordjevic, the acting director of the “Post of Serbia”, who took office on March 5, 2021.
Although, as stated, the plan of the State Audit Institution sets deadlines for eliminating irregularities, depending on the priorities, as of December 31, 2022, “Post of Serbia” removed all objections as of today, ie eleven months before the deadline. .
“We will only cite the example that, constantly in 2021, as well as at the beginning of 2022, the number of employed and employed persons was within the framework determined by the Business Program, ie the approval of the Commission for giving consent for new employment and additional employment with users of public funds.” that is, in accordance with the Law on Budget System “, it is stated in the announcement.
It is added that on January 25, 2022, the “Post of Serbia” had only 10 people, hired on the basis of a contract out of employment.
All objections related to public procurement were accepted and fully implemented in all subsequent procurements conducted in accordance with applicable regulations.
