Acting director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Djordjevic, today during a working visit to the Post of Northern Macedonia, talked with the director general of that institution, Jani Makraduli, about the possibilities and directions of improving strategic cooperation between the two countries and agreed on the basis for signing a memorandum of cooperation in Belgrade.

Djordjevic then met with the members of the Management Board of the Post of Northern Macedonia, and then visited the premises of the main postal center in Skopje, it is stated in the announcement.

“In recent years, the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Northern Macedonia have intensified friendship and cooperation, as well as communication between top officials. This relationship contributes to improvement in the region and therefore the post offices of Serbia and Northern Macedonia improving postal and logistics services, exchanging experts and information and transmitting examples of good practice, “Djordjevic said.

He pointed out that the common goal is a stronger connection between the citizens and the economies of the two countries.

It is reminded that agreements were recently reached with public postal operators of Republika Srpska and Slovenia, signing a protocol on business cooperation with the Post of Srpska and defining the framework of future technical cooperation with the Post of Slovenia on projects in the field of digitalization, which is one of the Serbian government’s priorities.
