Hisense will officially sponsor the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the company announced today (Tuesday). The sponsorship is valued at $ 200 million. By doing so, Hisense joins the world’s leading exhibitors who have given these sponsorships past and present. With this move, Hisense will be able to connect with FIFA’s global audience in unique ways, from involvement in the various sites to the appearance of the company logo on a variety of FIFA platforms and international advertising campaigns.
In the collaboration, which began with a tournament in Russia in 2017, Hisense first tagged content created specifically for the FIFA World Cup and embryos using the VIDAA smart operating system integrated across all of its TV screens.
“Continued investment in world-class sporting events represents Hisens’ determination as a leading global brand,” said Jay Shaukian, CEO of the Hisens Group. “It helps Hissens build stronger relationships with the general public and accelerates the company’s globalization process. It also creates a strong foundation for Hisense to compete with the leading brands that have previously taken an active part in these platforms. ”
FIFA Secretary-General Fatma Samura said: “I am delighted to welcome Hisense as the official World Cup sponsor. We are pleased to be a partner in this respected international brand, which also has a growing presence in the sports market as we work towards Qatar 2022. FIFA and Hisense both focus on technology and innovation, giving people the best possible experience. I am confident that this collaboration will support the global goals of both organizations and contribute to the success of what is sure to be an amazing event next year. ”
Hisense also said that the FIFA World Cup is a celebration of world football and a rare opportunity for brands to showcase innovative technological achievements and improve the viewing experience of fans.
The FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup will be held from November 21 to December 18.
