The Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, talked today with the director of the “Exit” festival and three American professional athletes about the possibilities of investing in the medical cannabis industry, the Government in Skopje announced.
Zaev received the director of “Exit”, Dusan Kovacevic, and guests from the USA, American football athletes Lance Briggs, Turk McBride and Donnie Caldwell, “successful producers of medical cannabis in the USA”.
“Having previously analyzed investment opportunities in some other regions of the world, the guests pointed out at the meeting that the advantages in the medical cannabis industry make Northern Macedonia a country of special interest for this activity,” the statement reads.
Prime Minister Zaev presented the possibilities for opening medical cannabis processing factories in Northern Macedonia, and investors presented experiences with the most advanced technology and knowledge they already use in their plants for growing the plant in the United States.
At Zaev’s meeting with the director of “Exit” and American businessmen, “the challenges faced by the music and invent industry during the kovid pandemic were also discussed, discussing the possibilities for organizing Exit festival activities in Northern Macedonia,” the statement said.
