Today, the Party of Freedom and Justice (SAA) rejected as untrue the claims of the Minister of Finance Siniša Mali that Serbia “has no hole in the budget”, stating that according to the data of that department, the “hole in the budget” in 2021 amounted to 286 billion dinars. year is planned to be “additional 200 billion dinars”.
The president of the SAA Committee for Economy and Finance, Dusan Nikezic, stated that in 2020, “the biggest budget hole in history” was recorded in the amount of 459 billion dinars, followed by the one from 2021, as he said.
“Now you have the two largest annual budget holes in history on your ‘list of success’, the largest monthly budget hole in history of 135 billion dinars from December 2021 and the largest debt in the history of Serbia of 30.5 billion euros,” Nikezic said.
He assessed that it was “a historical result that will hardly surpass any future Minister of Finance” and that because of that, Minister Siniša Mali should “retire now that he is at the peak of his career”.
