The 13th Turkey Investment Conference was organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) Turkey-US Business Council (TAİK).
The conference hosted by Goldman Sachs was attended by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Trade. Omer Bolat President of the Presidential Investment Office Burak Dağlıoğlu Chairman of the GNAT Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission Mustafa Varank DEIK President Nail Olpak and TAIK President Mehmet Ali Yalçındağ as well as business representatives and portfolio investors from the USA and Turkey.
At the meeting, which lasted approximately one hour, a presentation on Turkey’s economic outlook was made and participants’ questions were answered.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has full support for policies aimed at controlling inflation, and it was noted that the tightening of monetary policy will help reduce inflation.
At the meeting where the steps taken towards financial discipline were mentioned, Turkey’s Medium Term Program (MTP) was explained, and the investment environment and opportunities in the country were discussed.
