The Post of Serbia announced that it is considering the robotization of technological processes in support of more efficient work of employees, it was announced today at the end of the working visit of the delegation of the Post of Serbia, led by Acting Director Zoran Djordjevic, Post of Slovenia.
“The visit to the Post of Slovenia opened the possibility for cooperation in the implementation of the most advanced IT solutions in our logistics centers in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis, whose modernization is one of the business priorities of the Post of Serbia.” Our goal is to raise quality, faster and more efficient service for citizens and the economy, and one of the directions of development we are considering is based on the introduction of robotics in the process of shipment processing to support more efficient work of employees, “said Djordjevic in Maribor after visiting the postal and logistics center. in Maribor and the data center of the Post of Slovenia for work process management.
In these centers, technological solutions based on artificial intelligence have been implemented, and the first robot used for processing shipments has been installed in Maribor, it is stated in the announcement.
Djordjevic emphasized the readiness of the Post of Slovenia to provide consulting assistance to the Post of Serbia for adjusting the business to the requirements of the accession process to the European Union, which, along with talks on cooperation in digitalization and development of e.commerce solutions, was one of the main topics.
The delegation of the Post of Serbia ends its working visit to Slovenia today, which followed after the delegation of the Post of Slovenia, on the initiative of Zoran Djordjevic, visited the Post of Serbia in May, when talks between the management of the two post offices on future cooperation began.
