The new collective agreements of the three main US automakers Ford, Stellantis and General Motors have been approved by their employees: the union announced United Auto Workers who conducted an unprecedented strike during the negotiations.
“After a historic strike that lasted more than six weeks and involved all three groups simultaneously for the first time, “UAW members (…) voted to ratify their new collective bargaining agreements, obtaining record earnings,” the UAW announced in a statement.
The union announced that the 64% of members of the three groups voted in favor of ratification of four-year collective agreements.
