After four bad seasons, fashion boutiques are almost back to pre – corona level
Research by Mode Unie, the Unizo federation for independent fashion retail, shows that the fashion boutiques are again almost at the pre-corona sales level in March. “That was after four bad seasons, each time with a sales figure of -30 percent more than necessary for the fashion sector,” said Isolde Delanghe, director of Mode Unie.

During the corona pandemic, customers kept their cool on the stock market, and in recent months rising energy prices and fears about the war in Ukraine have caused restraint. “But the arrival of the beautiful weather, the prospect of postponed communion, wedding and other parties and the fact that we are dressed again now that we can go to the office has caused a change.” (floor)
