The post office is used as a location for relief supplies

Belgians can deliver emergency items to Ukraine at their local post office. To get the gifts to the war-torn Ukraine, Bpost is working with the Ukrainian Post Office.

Bpost only accepts essential products and commodities that can be stored at room temperature for an extended period of time, do not require heating before consumption, and are in unbreakable and original packaging. As long as they are not packaged in glass jars, this includes canned fish and meat, cereals, biscuits, and baby food. Soap, toothpaste, and sanitary towels are other acceptable hygiene supplies.

The boxes containing relief goods can be delivered to any of our country’s 657 post offices. Bpost will sift the gifts before transporting them by lorry to the Ukrainian border. Ukraine’s postal service, Ukrposhta, will transport the boxes there and distribute them to those in need. More information is available at (dhs)
