Tomorrow, the Minister for the Care of the Village, Milan Krkobabić, will sign the first 14 contracts on the allocation of non-refundable funds for the purchase of rural houses with a garden.
The new roof over their heads will be given to 12 families from the entire territory of Serbia and two young farmers, determined to start living independently, it is stated in the announcement of the Ministry for the care of the village.
Most requests came from the municipalities of Pirot, Nova Crnja, Backa Palanka, Lucani, Vladicin Han, Bac, Kikinda and Pecinci.
Among the first winners of money to buy a house in the countryside is a couple from Belgrade who will move to a village near Trstenik.
Young married and unmarried couples, single parents and farmers under the age of 45 can receive grants for the purchase of rural houses.
