Enersense, an energy services firm, has been chosen as the main contractor for the wind farm’s construction.
The Mörknässkogen wind farm near Vöyri is a British firm called Low Carbon’s first wind power venture in Finland.
The contract is worth around seven million euros.
The Mörknässkogen wind farm will have five wind turbines, and building will begin this summer. The project is expected to be finished in the fall of 2023.
The scope of work for Enersense comprises the complete construction of the park’s roads and lifting areas, as well as the foundation for the power plant, the park’s internal network, and the substation.
