Kuwait Finance House (KFH) won the award for the best Islamic financial institution in the world for the year 2022 from the global “Global Finance” group, as part of the 15th edition of the awards granted annually by the magazine, in recognition of the significant contributions to the growth of Islamic finance, and meeting customers’ needs for innovative products. Sharia-compliant through advanced and effective service channels, in addition to excellence in achieving sustainability and continuous growth.
Global Finance also awarded KFH the award for the best Islamic financial institution in the Middle East, and the award for the best Takaful insurance company in the world for KFH Takaful Insurance Company (KFH Takaful).
On this occasion, the Group CEO of KFH – Abdulwahab Al-Rashoud, expressed his pride in winning these awards from the prestigious “Global Finance” group, indicating that this represents a global recognition of KFH’s leading position in the Islamic finance industry, confirming the efficiency of KFH’s performance. The bank and its excellence in providing innovative services of high quality while moving forward with the strategy of digital transformation, continuing the proactive approach in adopting technology and innovation and focusing on enhancing the customer experience.
Al-Rashoud pointed out that KFH has always been a reference in Islamic banking and has a proven track record of innovating financial and banking services and products, and developing many financial products and financing alternatives, which are dealt with in international markets today, and meet the aspirations of customers of all segments, individuals and companies.
Al-Rashoud stated that KFH focuses on supporting financial inclusion, which is an essential factor in achieving sustainable development goals, and this falls within the framework of its development role and its leadership in the Islamic finance industry.
He explained that KFH is the first Islamic bank established in Kuwait, and it owns a dominant share in the local market, while enjoying a wide geographical spread in several regions around the world through 526 banking branches, about 1,750 automated teller machines, and more than 13,000 employees.
