Ambassador Ruth Stewart said that in addition to Rio Tinto and the Jadar project, which was very positively evaluated in Australia, other Australian companies also operate in the mining sector in Serbia and there is interest in new investments.
“We are convinced that the Jadar project brings huge benefits not only to Serbia, but also to the whole of Europe, in terms of the production of lithium batteries,” she said.
