I hate inflation. It’s a new acquaintance for me, but I still hate it.

Inflation, or rising prices, eats up the purchasing power of my savings and wages. It is an unfair phenomenon that strikes different people differently.

I hate inflation more than recessions. Recessions are part of the economic cycle, with booms and busts following each other. I can accept that. However, the value of money should endure through these ups and downs. A rise in prices robbed of hands means someone has been badly tormented.
