Kempower, which focuses on electric car charging systems, released preliminary data for January-March.
The company’s net sales increased to EUR 11.5 million from EUR 2.3 million in the comparison period. The order backlog strengthened to EUR 29.1 million from EUR 10.0 million and the order intake for the interim period was EUR 26.9 million compared to EUR 8.5 million a year ago.
The company’s operating result in January-March was a loss of EUR 0.9 million, compared to a loss of EUR 0.5 million a year earlier.
“Kempower’s strong demand for electric vehicle charging solutions continued in the first quarter of 2022. This had a positive effect on Kempower’s net sales, order intake and order backlog. Both the Nordic countries and the rest of Europe were the drivers of growth in the first quarter of 2022, ”the company’s press release says.
Kempower will publish its first quarter 2022 business review on Friday, May 6, 2022.
