1424 female citizens left work in the private sector

Official data revealed that the net number of people leaving to work in the private sector in Kuwait amounted to about 1,369 male and female citizens by the end of 2021.

In detail, recent data issued by the General Organization for Social Insurance showed a decrease in the number of insured citizens working in the private sector by 1,369 male and female citizens, bringing their number down from 53.9 thousand at the end of 2020 to 52.59 thousand male and female citizens by the end of 2021.

The figures showed that all those leaving the sector are female citizens, as their numbers decreased by 1,424, to reach 24.64 thousand at the end of 2021, compared to 26.06 thousand at the end of 2020, while the number of citizens increased by 55, bringing their number to 27.95 thousand by the end of 2021, compared to 27.89 thousand. by the end of 2020.
