The representative office of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) has started working in Israel, in Jerusalem, and its main task will be to strengthen ties between the economy, trade and science between the two countries, it was announced today.
According to the PKS statement, the interest in cooperation between the two economies is reflected in almost all economic branches, and the emphasis is placed on the ICT sector, start.up consulting, health, agriculture and the food industry.
Dedicated industry, cyber, ICT services, wastewater treatment and tourism are also highly rated for the partnership, the statement added.
“Encouraging Israeli investments in the real estate sector, renewable energy, water resources management, environment, infrastructure, transport, along with increasing exports from our country to Israel, will undoubtedly be the main tasks of the Representation,” said the director of the representation Aleksandar Nikolic.
The ceremonial opening of the Representative Office, which is located in the Margalit Start.up City (JVP) complex in Jerusalem, is planned for November in the presence of PKS President Marko Čadež.
The opening of that representative office was announced a year ago at the signing of the Washington Agreement, and it will be the seventh PKS representative office in the world in total.
This year, the two countries are also marking 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
