Israel: The unemployment rate fell to 2.9% by mid – April

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, in mid-April, the unemployment rate in Israel in its classical definition was 2.9%, which is 0.8% lower than at the end of March.

The unemployment rate, including those who did not work due to reasons related to the coronavirus epidemic, was 3.2%.

The participation rate in the labor market was 63%.
