Please bear with me: The majority of Ferrari models were sold out

Anyone interested in purchasing a Ferrari sports car in the near future will most likely need to be patient. When the first-quarter numbers were released on Wednesday, CEO Benedetto Vigna stated that most models are sold out and that a major portion of the order book for next year has already been filled. Ferrari has sold more cars and made more money in the last three months.

Ferrari sets new marks for the second year in a row, following a record-breaking year for the Italian automaker in 2021. “Despite the fact that 2022 will be defined by geopolitical uncertainty, I remain enthusiastic about the company’s prospects,” Vigna added.

Ferrari shipped more than 3,251 cars in the first quarter, up 17% year on year, for a total of 1.2 billion euros in revenue. The company’s net profit increased by 16% to 239 million euros. The Ferrari Roma and SF90 branches were particularly well-liked. Early this year, about one out of every six models shipped was a hybrid. Ferrari plans to do more work with electric and hybrid cars under Vigna’s direction.
