Konepaja Valmet begins change negotiations, which include 1,300 employees from the Cardboard and Paper Mills business unit of the Paper business line. The amount corresponds to the personnel of the entire business unit.
The company estimates about 200 positions as permanent reductions. The number and targeting of possible layoffs and dismissals will be specified during the negotiations.
