Lambert Wilson in “La Maison”: “Cinema and theater are machines for consuming fresh flesh”

He is surprised by his image as an elegant and clean actor. Because he assures us: dressing up, on a daily basis, doesn’t interest him at all. “I simply listened to my mother’s advice. When I’m on TV, I put on a jacket, I do my hair. If you see me in the countryside, it’s pretty filthy, I have old t-shirts, pants covered in dirt, because I have dogs,” he sweeps away in his phrasing so recognizable from the chic neighborhoods of Paris.

In the exciting series “La Maison”, online from this Friday, September 20 on Apple TV +, Lambert Wilson slips into the costume of Vincent Ledu, flamboyant artistic director of a prestigious Parisian fashion house who finds himself replaced by a young designer, Paloma Castel (Zita Hanrot) following a slip-up that went viral on the networks.
