Karla Sofía Gascón, Javier Bardem or Álvaro Morte, nominated for the 33rd edition of the Actors and Actresses Awards

Karla Sofía Gascón, Susi Sánchez, Javier Bardem and Álvaro Morte They are some of the candidates to aspire to the award for Best Actress and Actor of the 33 Awards and Actresses Union Awards, that will be held on March 10 at the Price Circus Theater in Madrid.

The Union of Actors and Actresses has announced the name of the nominees who have been chosen from the more than 2,000 candidates presented to this 33 edition of the awards, and who will choose to take the recognition of the profession for their work done in the different categories of film, theater and television.

Among the works most recognized by the interpreters, according to the number of nominations for these works, titles such as ‘La Infiltrada’, of Arantxa Echevarría, ‘La Virgen Red’, by Paula Ortiz or ‘House in Flames’, of Dani of the Order, in cinema. In the case of the series, ‘The Asunta case’, created by Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira, Jon de la Cuesta and David Orea, ‘Amauda’ by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, Eduard Sol Addicted ‘by Aitor Gabilondo are the favorites on television; and ‘The Mother’, directed by Juan Carlos Fisher or ‘1936’, under the direction of Andrés Lima, in Theater.

In addition to the awards corresponding to the theater, cinema and television categories, another special awards will be awarded: the ‘A lifetime’ award, which this time has been awarded to Ana Belén; the ‘Special Prize of the Union’, awarded by the Governing Board of the Union that recognizes the work and social commitment of a person or entity; and the ‘Women in Unión-Pilar Bardem’, granted by the Ministry of Equality of the Union for its commitment to equality in different social fields. Of these last two, the names will be known in the press conference.

The nominees for best actor and actress in international production are Álvaro Morte for ‘Immaculate’, Javier Bardem by ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story’, Tomás Pozzi for ‘Kill Me’, Karla Sofía Gascón by ‘Emilia Pérez’, María Knight for ‘The First Omen’ and Susi Sánchez for ‘Queens’.

In the film acting category, Daniel Ibañez for ‘Second Prize’, Eduard Fernández for ‘Marco’, Urko Olazabal for ‘Soy Nevenka’, Carolina Yuste for ‘La Infiltrada’, Najwa Nimri for ‘La Virgen Roja’ and Patricia López Arnaiz For ‘The flashes’ are the nominees of protagonist interpreters. Best actor and secondary actress the nominees are Alberto San Juan (House in Flame) Antonio de la Torre (Los Disellos), Patrick Criado (the Red Virgin), Aixa Villagrán (the Red Virgin), Clara Segura (the 47) and Macarena Garcia (house in Flames).

Best actor and delivery actress in cinema, the nominees are Juan Diego Botto (the next room), Carlos Cuevas (the 47), Carlos Troya (La Infiltrada), Catalina Sopelana (the blue star), Esther Isla (I am Nevenka), Victoria Luengo (the next room). The nominees for best actor and best leading actress on television are Alberto San Juan (Cristóbal Balenciaga), Oriol Pla (I, Addicted), Tristán Ulloa (the Asunta Case), Candela Peña (the Asunta case), Iria del Río (the years the years new) and Victoria Luengo (red queen).

On television, for best actor and secondary actress, the candidates are Javier Gutiérrez (the Asunta case), Miguel Bernardeau (want) Pedro Casablanc (Ama ).
