Why the art installation “We Felt a Star Dying” in Berlin is sensational

When it comes to elementary particles, only people who are quantum physicists come along, Nobel Prize winners or both. Now an installation in Berlin shows how art can make the future understandable.

It was an excellent idea to focus on the French artist and gymnast winner Laure Prouvost on the subject of quantum physics. She had no idea about the teaching, which levers all the rules of traditional physics. Of those elementary particles and quantum bits (qubits), which form the basis of the quantum computers, which in the future will change the world and humanity even more fundamentally than mechanics, computer science or artificial intelligence. The phenomena of quantum physics are as old as the universe and even older than atoms.
