José Ignacio Lucía Orrite and Luis Javier Gayá, awarded the ‘Archecto’ of Art award

The artists José Ignacio Lucía Orrite and Luis Javier Gayá They have been the winners in this 35th edition of the Arrow Art Fair which has had the Madrid movement as a central theme.

The act, which has been attended by the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, has recognized the work of the two artists, who have been present at the fair and that They will receive 3,000 euros and 600 euros respectively.

Thus, the work of Orrite ‘reflection with blanket and wine’ exhibited in this edition of arrow, is part of its large production of artistic creation in oil. In his works he likes to work on the issues they evoke “To melancholy, loneliness and silence,” the fair explains in a statement.

On the other hand, Gayá has been the artist who has received the second prize, for his painting on the caleido tower in Madrid, ‘Il Castello’, in which he reflects a conceptual reality from “The soul, but a reality after all, without altering iconography in appearance“. His work covers a wide range of issues, from industrial architecture and archeology, still lifes and landscape.

The Commercial Space Liberation Fair (Arrow), is the second with the most trajectory after Arco, and this year has celebrated its 35th anniversary of February 13 and until March 16 at the Arturo Soria Plaza shopping center, where it has been carried out since its inception.
