“Touche pas à mon poste” will stop on Wednesday on his webtélé, announces Cyril Hanouna

Only three weeks after its stop on the C8 channel, the program “Touche pas à mon poste” will stop on its webtélé on Wednesday, Cyril Hanouna announced this Friday evening. The talk show, which should come back to W9 from September, will not continue on the Internet while waiting for its return to television.

“On Wednesday, the darlings will be the last of Touche not at my post. We are going to have a big party, since we are now going to focus on our project, “said the host who must join the M 6 group in September on the W9 and Fun Radio channel, evoking a” seminar “with his teams to” work on the rest of the operations “.

More than a million spectators

“I know I did the maximum to stay the longest with you. And it was a huge box, ”he said. “We were first talk thanks to you, every night, we did the max. Know it, we will still do the max all the time, “he added in conclusion of his program.

With the C8 judgment on February 28, “Baba” had announced that he would continue on the internet for “a few months, perhaps until the end of April”, before his return to the small screen at the start of the school year.

The frequencies of C8 and NRJ12 on TNT, which were not renewed by the Arch in the summer of 2024, closed their doors on March 1, after the failure of their administrative appeals. The two free channels have chosen not to continue their broadcast on other networks (cable, box, etc.).

From March 3, Cyril Hanouna and his columnists had thus resumed service on the Zoubida TV webtélé, transmitted to Dailymotion, YouTube, Molotov, Mycanal and the bouquets of the Internet boxes. A change in broadcasting that regularly attracted just over a million viewers, according to figures communicated by the host.

Longevity and controversy

Discreetly launched on France 4 in 2010, before being transferred in 2012 to D8, which became C8, with its star host, TPMP has become one of the most popular programs in France, claiming every day on average “two and a half million” viewers on the channel of the Canal +group. For its last TNT evening on February 27, the talk show even broke a “historic record” by bringing together nearly 3.7 million viewers on its most watched tranche.

Popularity and longevity enamelled with many controversies. Decided by Arch, the audiovisual regulator, and validated by the Council of State, the cessation of C8 broadcasting on digital land television (TNT) was motivated by the “repeated shortcomings” of the chain, which has accumulated a fine of 7.6 million euros because of the slippages of Cyril Hanouna.

Of this total, 3.5 million euros correspond to a record sanction for insults launched to the deputy LFI Louis Boyard in TPMP in November 2022 and three million euros for a hoax deemed homophobic in a declination of the program in 2017.

Internal fears

Over the years, the show has taken an increasingly political turn. The host, who does not move a future candidacy for the presidential election, is notably supported on the right and the far right and boycotted by a part of the left.

His enmity with rebellious France is notorious. Latest episode to date: the radical leftist party was sentenced on Friday to pay him 3,500 euros for damage to the “image right”, due to a caricature of the animator who earned the movement of anti -Semitism accusations.

The announcement of the arrival of Cyril Hanouna in the M6 group, for a daily TV show on W9, also on TNT, as well as a program on Fun Radio, from September 1, aroused internal fears.

M6 said on several occasions that the host came to make “entertainment”, without “political” tone. However, the media group has already had to crop it publicly last week for having scratched one of its stars, Bruno Guillon in TPMP.
