Wagner -Tenor Peter Seiffert died: Kraft and Noblesse

Anyone who has ever experienced him on stage as the Grail Knight Lohengrin in Richard Wagner’s opera will hardly be able to imagine this game than Peter Seiffert. None other than this tall singer with the highly personable charisma and flexible voice guidance. This extremely warm voice shone very differently when he sang the Prince Tamino in Wolfgang Amadé Mozart’s “Magic Flute”. Not, as so often with others, he gave it with rather pale beauty, but finally there was a prince who embodied strength and noblesse, charm and lyrical devotion. And in his heyday, Peter Seiffert was also able to accommodate the murderous role of Wagner’s Tristan.
