APA Service, appointed Cappon President and Barbuto Secretary General

APA (Audiovisual Manufacturers Association) announced the appointment of Claudio Cappon as president of Apa Service and Domenico Barbuto as general secretary of the same association. “The appointment of two highly value professionals represents excellent news for APA and for the entire audiovisual sector,” says Chiara Sbarigia, president of APA. “Their experience, competence and vision will contribute significantly to the growth and evolution of our association, strengthening our commitment for an increasingly competitive and innovative sector”.

Claudio Cappon, graduated in Economics and Commerce, held the role of general manager of Rai and vice president of the Union of European televisions. He has been president of the television producers association, since 2015 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of APA SERVICE SRL and since 2016 Secretary General of the Copeam (Permanent Conference of the Mediterranean audiovisual). He was also president of the JTI project (Journalism Trust Indicators) in 2019. Domenico Barbuto, graduated in Law, has a long career in the sector of institutional relations in cultural fields. Secretary General of the AGIS (Italian General Association of Entertainment), is a member of the Superior Council of the show and teacher in Masters and university courses on the legislation and management of the show.
